Creative workshops
Students are very receptive to everything concerning creation and innovation and, therefore, most of them are willing to enlist in creative workshops.
Other than in recreational circles, as a way to evaluate activities, children have the opportunity to take part in established artistic endeavors, events, competitions, exhibitions, conferences, carnivals, concerts, artistic tours, games, camps and many others.
Teachers who take part in clubs, special interest circles or workshops have a large teaching experience, concerned with showing children how to obtain the best results for their work. In such educational activities, teachers who like their profession can help students understand how working can be fun and how to work with others as a team, having beneficial results on the intellectual and emotional development of the children.
The brave scouts
At Mimiu children from School no. 19 (that have chosen the name the Brave Scouts) have particpated at two creative workshops making mărtişoare, and their creations were offered for sale at the Mărţişor Fair from Winmarkt Omnia (during 20th of february and the 2nd of March). With the money gathered from the self-made martisoare, the kids want to organize a holiday for their mothers, with the occasion of the 8th of March.
Also part of the creations of children will be exposed at the School Inspectorate Prahova, in an exhibition of March 1, where Ploieşti schools are invited to participate with products made by their students.
The creative workshops were held on 16 and 23 February, at school, with the support of the school management and several teachers and a team of volunteers.
