The European Union Program “Cultura (2007-2013)”

The Program “Cultura (2007-2013)” is financed by the European Union and managed by the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture and by the European Comity. This Program runs on a seven years period(2007-2013) and represents a sequel of the program “Culture 2000” witch ended in the year 2006.The program “Cultura (2007-2013)” runs bases on the decision 1855/2006/CE and is the base mechanism of support for the cultural sector. It helps the ones interested to find partners for projects and grants technical assistance for implementing them.

The program Europe for the citizens 2007-2013,action 4 –Living European Memory

The program has a total budget of 215 milion EUR for a 7 year period (2007-2013)from which 4% are for action 4.The purpose of this action is to preserve the most important sites and archives associated with the deportations and commemorete the victims of the nazism and stalinism, as a modality to get over the past and build the furure

The administration of the National Cultural Fund

The administration of the National Cultural Fund offers financing for editorial projects who take place between the signing of the contract and the date of 31 october 2008, in the limit of bugdetar credits alocated for this purpose. Financing can’t be more than 90% of the total value of the project. The difference is covered from own founds or other sources except the ones of the National Cultural Fund.

PROMOCULT - 2008

In the context of National and European cultural policies, the Ministry of Culture and Cults finances in the year 2008 the Program of Promovation of Contemporan Art from Romania in the European Union, named “Promcult”, who has as a main purpose the promovation of the contemporan romanian cultural values trough the projects and cultural actions from the visual art domain and written culture.

The program for financing foreign editor’s to translate Romanian Authors(TPS)

The program for financing foreign editors to translate romanian authors (TPS – Translation and Publication Support Programme) aims to facilitate the access of the foreign public at romanian literature and support the presence of romanian authors on the international book market, by financing the translation costs(publishing too, when needed). TPS support the publication and sharing in the world of the relevant pieces of the romanian culture, from literature and human sciences. The funding are given for the translation of relevant pieces of the romanian culture and of interest for the foreign public.

The “Cantemir 2008” program

The Cantemir program was made in the year 2006, based on the procedures, criteria and conditions of the Law no 350/2005, and the Ordinance 9/1996, as a pilot program of financing of Romanian cultural project for the international environment. In the year 2008, the objectives of the program are the increase of visibility and accessibility of Romanian culture on the international cultural markets, encouraging the cooperation between Romanian and foreign artists.

EURIMAGES

EURIMAGES is the fund of the European Council for the support of co production, distribution and exploitation of the European cinematographic plays. Created in 1989 on the base of a partial agreement, nowadays has 33 member states (Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, The Ceh Republic, Denmark, Helvetia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Island, Italia, Luxemburg, Leetonia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Norwegian, Holland, Polonia, Portugal, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden , Turcia, Hungary).It purpose is the promotion of cinematographic plays for Europe, trough the stimulation of the production of the play and the cooperation between professionals.

Cultural Grant Aid

The purpose of this program of the Embassy of Japan is to help the Romanian cultural institutions to improve the quality of their activities trough donations of high technology equipments, musical instruments and so on. Starting with the year 1991, the Japanese Government offers annual help - „Cultural Grant Aid” to some cultural Romanian institutions of national importance.

Intercultural Dialogue 2009

The program "Intercultural Dialogue 2009", has as main objective to highlight contemporary intercultural society in Romania in the context of an environment European multi-cultural interaction and support the spirit of building a specific cultural expressions of cultural creativity, whether individual or group carrier of content, cultural and artistic identity or profession. The program "Intercultural Dialogue 2009" is intended to actively promoting diversity of content and artistic expression, through access to knowledge of authentic cultural values in Romania.
