The „Garabet Ibrăileanu” School in Târgu Frumos, Iaşi, is part of an international COMENIUS project called “Celtic roots, Roman roots throughout Europe: meeting the first Europeans”, in partnership with schools from 6 other countries: Italy, Hungary, UK, Germany, Turkey and Spain.
During March 29th to April 2nd 2011, the project’s activities were hosted by the „Garabet Ibrăileanu” School, one of the local RECL nodes. „Our project coordinators, Bianca Baciu and Claudiu Popa, showed our guests the surroundings, traditions and habits in the Tg. Frumos areas, organised working trips at the City Hall, Library, PAPI and Cucuteni Museum, as well as in the main historically relevant localities in Moldova”, RECL Târgu Frumos manager Dorina Radu explains.
