The European Commission has published on its website the Catalogue of Grundtvig Workshops (Learner Mobility and Cooperation in Lifelong Learning) approved for 2011 - 2012.
Grundtvig Workshops are one of the new actions in the Grundtvig Programme which have been launched in 2009.
The objective of this action is to enable adult learners to participate in Workshops (learning events and seminars) taking place in another European country participating in the Lifelong Learning Programme.
The Grundtvig Workshops bring together individuals or small groups of learners (a minimum of 10 up to a maximum of 20 people) from several countries for an innovative multinational learning experience relevant for their personal development and learning needs.
Workshops will last a minimum of 5 days (excluding travel), up to maximum 10 days and take place between 1/9/2011and 31/8/2012.
The Workshops are open to any adult citizen, however special attention is being paid for people from vulnerable social groups, especially the elderly or those who abandon education and do not have basic qualifications. The catalogue can be read at http://ec.europa.eu/education/grundtvig/doc/catalogue11_en.pdf.
