Teachers from the “Vladimir Streinu” Secondary School in Teiu (Argeş) have found a new way to convince children to learn a new language and spend as much time as possible in school.
Teacher Corina Ciobanu had the initiative of starting a club, called “The club of the French-speaking smurfs” (“Le Club des P'tits Schtroumpfs francophones”).
The target group is a number of at least 20 pupils from the fifth and sixth grades, the first two years of French studies. The club’s activities will take place using the computers that the school received through Knowledge-Based Economy Project, like it happens in all the projects teacher at the Teiu school organised. The project’s website is http://clubdesschtroumpsfrancophones.blogspot.com/.
