Process progres
The following activities were completed :
At this point,a consistent web tool is needed in the community, bringing together heterogeneous sources of
information, electronic resources, know-how on various subjects related to professional and consulting services,
training and technical support.
In order to involve community members in the modern information society, it is necessary to connect them to a
common, interactive platform.
Thus, operating on the principle of collaboration and exchange of information the eComunitate portal is
the largest online community with regional distribution in Romania.
Portal brings together a suite of individual sites, a wide range of information resources,
interactive digital educational content, structured information about projects in areas of interest
for communities, webt tools formass interaction and many others. The ultimate aim of this
portal is to provide appropriate information at the right time and, perhaps most importantly, to the right audience.
This is part also of the general trend of aligning the underprivileged population to current communication
standards.
The strategic goal of the
business section from the portal is to make Internet companies that had not yet access to this channel
of promotion and
interaction, paying attention to businesses in disadvantaged communities that are part of the EBC project. Thus,
were introduced in the database, a number of
12,000 companies from EBC communities, by taking those records from the National Trade Register
Office.
The Business section of E-community portal allowing registered companies to submit their products and
services offer
,including the promotion of these products or services, to post requests for proposals, to respond to requests
for proposals of other companies (buyers or suppliers)
, to seek business partners.
Perspectives
In perspective, this section will be developed by careful selection of companies that will be stores/recorded, by
validating their existence by RECL managers at a local level. This validation will allow the companies listed on the
portal e-Comunitate to provide greater confidence in the eyes of potential buyers and business partners. Furthermore,
we intend to gradually transfer management of the pages to companies, so that through sustainability and efficiency
to achieve a critical mass of transactions and synergistic effects with the portal.
