Culture: Vărădia de Mureş

Varadia commune's culture is the result of Mureş knitting traditions, customs and activities of default arising from the year followed, within a framework organized by young and old who have passed from generation to generation cultural dowry left by the ancestors written culture, the learned and learned from books, works of literary contests, poetry and drawing. Traditions, habits are structured on two seasons of the year, when winter held meetings entire communities, organized meetings in each village, called "balls" and summer, when the same tradition bears the name of "prayers".
The communal library has a significant number of volumes of books, kept by the librarian, who is also chief editor of local magazine "from Varadia Horizons", which already has a few years when the bi-annual. Two festivals are held annually in the village of Mureş Varadia:

-Festival "Meeting with the sons of the village, which consists in granting diplomas of honour by the mayor of all people who, through activities in the village or outside it, is distinguished by exceptional results, thus honour the settlement.
also in building the culture of these lands has contributed significantly Cornelia Bulzan, famous through his poetic creations, being considered one of the greatest poets of the Romanian peasants.
