PAPI Dalboşeţ (Caraş Severin County) hosted two types of trainings dedicated to boosting IT and entrepreneurship skills, with the participation of residents in nearby villages. Sessions were initiated by former local coordinator of the Knowledge-Based Economy Project, Silvia Zoiade.
At the course dedicated to learning IT, young high school students came in great numbers to learn more about computers and Internet. Among the 15 applicants, many did not pass the baccalaureate exam and tried to keep in shape for the autumn session.
The entrepreneurship training, dedicated exclusively to the unemployed, were organised as part of a SOP HRD project called „Integrated employment services in the West Region”. Organisers wanted to determine people to develop small businesses which might rejuvenate the economic climate in the area, which is pretty under-developed.
At the end of Septembers, exams took place, which almost all trainees passed. In several weeks, they will receive diplomas recognised by the CNFPA.
