“Mothers get online to supervise children!” starts at I.C. Brătianu
10.10.2011
The first series of five participants started IT training as part of the project “Mothers get online to supervise children!”, organised at the „Nicolae Iorga” Library, in the commune of I.C. Brătianu (Tulcea).
The project won the competition „Train your community”, launched by IREX Bucharest through the Biblionet programme. During the entire course, from October 3rd to 27th, librarian Elena Topa was joined by Alexandrina Deacu from PAPI Jijila and Alexandru Crăciun, a volunteer from I.C. Brătianu.
The first series proved mothers were interested in using the computer, internet, and last but not least to learn more about parental control software.
