Community: Iaslovăţ
Iaslovăţ locality, set in Suceava county, constitutes one of oldest settlements in Bucovina province, being historically attested in a document dating the 1st of April 1448 in the charter during Petru Muşat II and in the document of Steven the Great and Saint from 15th March 1490. Iaslovăţ is located at 33 km away from Suceava and at 14 km from Rădăuţi. Iaslovăţ commune is composed only of Iaslovăţ village having a surface of 1871 ha., the arable ground occupying 85% from the total agricultural surface cultivated with potatoes, wheat, barley, rye, cabbage, perennial plants for hay, yearly plants for hay, root crop, fodder and other plants.
