Cândeşti RECL manager, Ionuţ Ungureanu, wrote a project setting a good practice example for the development and modernising of local farms, during the eEntrepreneur competition. The project continues the existing cooperation between PAPI and local farmers. „The entrepreneurs we promoted as part of the eEntrepreneur competition are beneficiaries of Measure 141 in the NRDP. RECL and these farmers have already worked together, as they received financing when they submitted their files”, the RECL manager says.
Beneficiaries of the e-Entrepreneur project are two individual enterprises in Cândeşti. The Individual Enterprise Rodica Elena Patenschi employs the entire family: Rodica and Nicolae Patenschi as well as the two sons. The family grows vegetables in the field and in the greenhouse, as a family tradition. 80% of the production of tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, cauliflower, peppers, bell peppers and eggplants are sold on the free market. The Individual Enterprise Elena Surdu is also a whole family business, including the wife, husband and son. The Surdu family grows cereals, potatoes and fodder. The production, especially cereal and potatoes, is mostly sold – 85%. The idea of the eEntrepreneur project came naturally after talks between the RECL manager and farmers about modernising their businesses and their way to farm.
