The Minister of the Environment and Forests, László Borbély, announced the ordinance regarding offering state aid for energy crops,through green certificates, has been finalised.
„After three years of talks we finally have this ordinance which modifies Law 220/2008 for establishing the system of promoting production of renewable energy. Through this new law Romania effectively becomes one of the most attractive EU countries for investors in this field”, Borbely said.
The minister explained the law offers help to companies and SMEs which produce green energy from renewable sources like wind, geothermal, sun, biomass and hydro.
“We have more than 90 projects signed through which we offer the investor as much as half the eligible value but no more than 30 million Lei”, the minister stated.
Regarding programmes of the Environmental Fund Administration, minister Borbely said the Green Home programme will lead to 43,000 buildings having heating systems which use renewable energy. The programme has two components, one of natural persons and one for companies.
