PAPI Rafaila designs websites for the public administration, SMEs or cultural institutions

The RECL manager in Rafaila, Ciprian Cercel, is an experienced website designer. Some of the pages, like the one of artist and sculptor Constantin Voicu, were created even before organising web development courses and trainings on using IT&C tools in business.

The possibility of helping local companies enter the Internet competition was a good occasion to extend this component of RECL activity. The KEP web design trainings were really helpful to Ciprian Cercel, who got the opportunity to ask questions and get answers about the secrets of professionals in the field.

“The web development training was very useful because it helped me clarify some aspects of web design. To my colleagues, managers or administrators, it offered the necessary knowledge and tools in order to create websites for municipalities or even turn this activity into a business and create websites for companies”, the manager in Rafaila says.

After the courses, RECL managers and administrators who started building the first websites communicated a lot, exchanging information, opinions and experiences. The RECL manager in Rafaila lent his expertise to the colleagues that begun work. “I was talking to the colleague in Hoceni, who has building the City Hall’s website, to the ones in Fereşti, doing the same thing, the one in Vetrişoaia, creating a website for a local business and the colleague in Murgeni, who now has a site of the Murgeni City Hall hosted on the municipality’s own server”, Ciprian Cercel explains.

One of the most successful collaborations is the website created by the Rafaila RECL manager for SC Caten Dream SRL, an IT company that offers computer service, hardware and software infrastructure and buying and installing IT equipment. The story is not complicated. “I know entrepreneur Ionuţ Crimu for a while and we’ve talked about a website before. Training in the Knowledge-based Economy Project (KEP) offered him the possibility of having a website for free”, Cercel says. The businessman is very happy with the site the RECL manager created at http://ecomunitate.ro/firme/catendream-it/, but now he wants another one, with a large array of options to present his business. “We’ve talked about a new website, on another server that would have the options needed for a website like he wants to have”, the RECL manager says.

Ionuţ Crimu has become a supporter of the Knowledge-based Economy Project. “He knows everything about KEP and PAPI Rafaila, after talking to me and reading on the PAPI centre’s website, www.papi.rafaila.net", the RECL manager explains.

His portfolio is visible on the PAPI Rafaila website: http://papi.rafaila.net/portofoliu.html. The sites are diverse, and it is this diversity that is a challenge. Cercel created the website of popular artist Constantin Voicu, a sculptor of wood icons, the portal of the Rafaila City Hall, a site for “Solar protection systems”, of PF Savin Bulubaşa, producer of blinds and similar products, as well as “Pigeons and pigeon breeders”, dedicated to those who like pigeons, where breeders can find advice, images, galleries and an online classifieds system. Cercel also built the website of the Oranj band in Negreşti and a website with family photos.
