The City Hall in Teregova (Caraş-Severin County) is implementing a European-funded project offering training for the unemployed; PAPI is an important part of the effort. The centre offers its computers, while trainees will learn what they can do with an internet-connected computer.
Financed through Axis 5.1 of the SOP HRD, the project aims to include 200 people without jobs in four localities in a series of trainings helping them to learn new things, useful in finding a new job or even starting a business.
The four localities are Teregova, Dalboşeţ, the city of Caransebeș in Caraş-Severin County and Liebling in Timiş.
The first training which all people choose is the IT&C course, taking place at PAPI Teregova, where the computers and equipment are being used to show trainees what an internet-connected computer can do.
Trainings are CNFPA- certified, and the project received 500,000 Euros worth of funding.
