Local resources: Amărăşti
The main occupation of the inhabitants is agriculture and crafts. Among the cultivated plants are wheat priority and corn, especially maize, which is the main food of the population. Also vines and is very suitable for cultivation due to climatic conditions and soil. A small part of the population is engaged and pasturage. A work of villagers is breeding, especially working oxen, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, birds and of fowls, turkeys, geese and ducks. Among vegetables mention tomatoes, cucumbers, onions , dill, garlic, beans, cabbage, etc. The surface of the village is 1859 ha, of which 1036 ha of arable, pasture, 562 ha, 16 ha meadow, 98 ha 147 ha orchards and vineyards.
Since ancient times people take charge of manufacture ţuicii, being holders of Povernei for boilers and spirit. Another occupation is the manufacture of wicker hats, or wine.
