School Partnership Projects
Ministry of Communications and Information Society – The Management Unit as coordinator of Knowledge-Based Economy, launched the School Partnership Projects - pilot phase
The overall objective of School Partnership Projects Program was to support the implementation of projects developed in schools partnership included în Knowledge-based Economy Project. The budget available for a project funded by School Partnership Projects Program was 11.548 LEI (VAT included).
For the School Partnership Projects Program could apply only schools participating in the Knowledge-based Economy Project. Each partnership project was between 4 and 6 schools located in different counties, of which minimum one, maximum two schools involved in the implementation pilot phase of Knowledge-based Economy Project.
The partnership formed for the project included, too: local authorities, NGOs, representatives of the communities in which schools operate their activity. Each partner involved had to take an active role in developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of the project, and also took roles in support of clear future activities developed by the project after the period of funding.
The projects submitted were considered eligible if they made a contribution from local authorities, NGOs and local community (local businesses, associations, parents, etc..) a minimum 10% of the funding requested.
Eligible projectswere those which at least 50% of activities are supporting the implementation of ICT in the school's educational offer and to facilitate exchange of experience and taking the best practices and innovative activities in the use of information and communications technology in education. Duration of projects which have been proposed must not exceed 3 months.
Under this School Partnership Projects Program were selected a number of 9 projects.
