 Every autumn with the end of the harvest of grapes a grape ball is organized in the commune held at the Cultural Home. To notify the locals, young people walk the streets in the village in cabs, carts, on horseback and announce the prom. This tradition has Hungarian origins. |
 Each year during the last weekend of August the village days are celebrated. The event includes contests, various presentations, concerts, involving both locals and people from the neighborhood or even strangers. |
 Annually in October, the reproduction of a historical event is held in our commune, i.e the Battle of the Valley Nyúzó, in memory of the Battle of Almosd and Diosig from 15th October 1604, that that is located exactly on the battlegroud bordering Hungary. |
