Baru Commune is a place for a great beauty, situated in a popular country Hateg, traditions which recall the past and today these lands. Common part of Hunedoara and meeting point of three tributaries Streiului fast: Crivedia, hillock and Baris. P>
Baru village residents take pride especially with keeping the traditions of these places and habits that deliver them from ancestors, which still form part of the daily life of the settlement, among them căluşarilor dance is noticeable, measurements of sheep, carols.
History
Baru Mare was first mentioned in medieval documents in 1418 when a group of 10-11 families have said before cneazului Country of Hateg they dispute with the descendants of Lel from Man River. span>
