Community: Borşa
Borşa is a town in the extreme north of Romania (Maramures County), in the eastern part of the closed Depresiunii Maramureş Mountains Mountains Rodnei and Maramureş (Eastern Carpathians), situated at 700-850 m altitude, Vişeului Valley, near the Prislop (altitude 1414 m), connecting Transylvania to Bukovina.
We pride ourselves with personalities as Lupu Sandru Popa, Mihali Gavrilă Strifunda, Titian Mihali, Timis Lungu ANGHELINA or things that Pietrosul Rodnei, Lake Iezer, Tourism Complex Borşa.
History
Borşa City is one of the oldest settlements in Maramureş. From remote times the Bronze evidence based on some archeological discoveries have revealed the relevant fragments of pottery. Local resources
Main resources until 1997 when they first started were available fields of lead, tin, zinc, copper, gold and silver mining company around developing the whole town practically angajând and labor on the Iza Valley, Valley and Valley Vişeului Sălăuţei.În currently mines were closed. Traditions
