Community: Chişlaz
Chişlaz commune is situated in the northern part of Bihor county, on Barcau river and next to Dernei Hills. According to the archeological discoveries in Fantana Sasului area, these lands were inhabited since the Neolitic period. The location of the future highway ”Transylvania”crosses the locality, the closest road junction being at 3 km far from commune's limit. >/p>
The locals from Chislaz commune are proud, of their acceptance to the new things, but also about the viable projects, meant to give to the locality a special status: renewed schools and in course of renovation, construction cultural home, termal strand, Internet network accessible for all the people, drinking water network, modernized roads.

Local resources
The main local resource of Chislaz commune is the hot (termal) water from the two existing wells that are found on locality's territory. Unfortunately, until now the touristic potential offered by the two springs is not exploited at a normal level.
