Community: Glăvile
Glăvile has its origin by the name of some fugitive from Brâncoveni estate, the ex-Romanaţi county and settled with his family in the Robită narrow valley from Olteaca village, around 1751. The name Glăvile seems to come also from the Slavonic "glavă" which means head and it is possible to have come from the existence of the longitudinal hills which cross the commune from North to South and the extremities of which end in the Southern part of the commune.
We are proud with a locality in course of modernization, an infrastructure and an informatization at great speed of implementation, people whishing for a better life.
