Pătârlagele is a city located in the county of Buzau, Pătârlagele the Depression, on the upper course of the river Buzău. Said City in 2004 (Law no. 203 of 25 April 2004), Pătârlagele currently has about 8500 inhabitants and 14 municipalities in the administrative subordination (Chiojdului Calea, grove, Dead, Gornet, Lunca, Monastery, Mărunţişu, Valley-Seacă, Muscel, Poienile, Sibiciu Upper, STROEŞTI, Lupului Valley, Valley Sibiciului, Vine Valley). City Pătârlagele as a form of relief is a depression.
The pride of Pătârlagele is one of the most beautiful mountain areas of the county Buzău.
History
The first document Pătârlagele of the city dates from 1573 but it seems that the town is still in the XII th century.
