Community: Perişoru
The Perişor commune is located in a plain area, these area being favourable for agriculture. On the commune's administrative territory the agriculture disposes of the best natural conditions needed for development.
The majority of people deal with the cultivation of cereals, vegetables and breeding animals. Perişor commune has a total surface of 21346 out of which 17583 ha arable, and 240 ha are occupied by the hearth of the villages. Is made of the following villages: Perişoru, Tudor Vladimirescu and Mărculeşti-Gară.
The park from the center of the commune was founded at the same time with the commune in 1924 being the only one on a distance of 25 km. Has species of shrubs such as buxus and tuia. These shrubs originate from Mediteranean countries. Because of the facility of the adaptation have become very appreciated in our area.
The trees in the park are varied such as:pine, fir, lime and spruce fir. The thickness branches and their height offer a cool and dark space perfect for a hot summer afternoon.
History
It is said that 80-100 years ago the present village hearth eas surrounded by three sheepfolds: Perişoru, Puţul Grecului and Cialicu.
