Community: Sântimbru
Sântimbru commune is situated in the Soth of Harghita county, at 12 km from Miercurea Ciuc minicipality. Localities network reffered to their status, rancking of the localities of Harghita county by degree is the following: Sântimbru as chief town is a rank IV locality, having as separate body Sântimbru Băi. Santimbru Băi is a permanent spa of local interest. It is found in HArghita county at an altitude of 1250 m, in Harghita Mountains. Natural factors of treatment of the Santimbru Băi spa are : choke damps - gas emanationwith a 99% carbon dyoxide and the mineral water springs. Santimbru Băi spa is recommended in treatments of the cardivascular system.
The commune prides with its monuments of nature (the natural reservation Mlaştina Büdös with a surface of 3 ha and natural reservation "Bányapatakfeje" with a surface of 3,7 ha) as well as the architectonical monuments such as:
