Şieuţ of the territory is located in northeast Depresiunii Transylvania contact with Călimani Mountains. The center of the village is part of Piedmont Călimani, while the north-eastern reaches of the mountainous western frame Călimani and the south-west is framed in the hills Şieului subunits. Commune Şieuţ includes among its limits an area of 62.64 km ², which represents approximately 1.2% of the county. The area is divided by four villages components: Şieuţ, village of residence of a common Ruştior, Sebiş and Meadow (frisia / Frij). The first three villages are situated on Şieului Valley and the village is located on Meadow Pârâul Frijna, a tributary of Şieului. History
Following archaeological investigations have been discovered within the village Şieuţ traces of habitation from the Bronze Age. Also, in villages and Sebiş Ruştior have found remains dating from the Iron Age. There are many discoveries and the Dacian era and Roman era.

Local resources
