Harsova is located in the North - Western part of Constantza county, on Danube right bank, 10 km away of the Danube mouth with Borcea river branch. 85 km away of Constantza. Surface - 10.902 ha. The town is composed of Harsova and of Vadu - Oii village, situated at 10 km North - West, closed to road bridge Giurgeni - Vadu Oii.
Changes that took place after 1989 in the political and economical life caused social - economical modifications also in Harsova. Applying adequate developing politics and taking into consideration Harsova's potential, we desire that our city and citizens find their true identity and the place they deserve on the social - economical country map.
Unique landscapes - Canaralele Harsoavei being a natural monument. The wild landscape and the sharp forms yearly atract many visitors and tourists. Other interesting points to be visited : fosil bearing points on Baroi Hill and Celea Mare and Celea Mica - Harsova is the only place where we can see the jurrasic limestones. < br/>
Thermal source valorification, History museum completion, Carsium fortification, Tell-ul, fishing, chasing, landscape - all are atraction points for the cultural tourism and for the tourists. Their materialisation could launch the economical activity, trade and tourism respectively and could transform the town into a cultural and scientific center.

Traditions
In the last few years in Harsova are organised the Town Days, the Harvest Day, a Children Musical Festival - Mladite Dunarene. In order to develop the children artistical apptitudes appeared various folk - dance bands, modern dance bands, vocal groups and vocal - instrumental groups.
