Community: Parva
Upstream of Pârva commune Rebrei Valley narrows having the appearance of a gorge, the majority of afluents having a perpendicular water flow on the main Rebra course, a direction characteristic for longitudinal symetrical valleys. Beginnig with Pârva and until the confluence with Someşul Mare, the valley widens alittle without losing its character of narrow valley. Taking into account the north-south strata orientation, Rebre Valley is generally speaking a consistent symetrical valley.
First of all we are proud of being the inhabitants of this special land, blessed by God. Here everything makes you happy: the fresh air, the forest rustling, the purl of the springs, the new white houses scattered along the valley among the trees; the proud and powerful appearance of the householders, the bright faces of the părveni, their Romanian costume wove, worked and embellished by their own hands with a craft learnt from their ancestors.
